Posh and David Beckham to celebrate wedding anniversary in Ireland

Hi,

Some exciting news for Irish residents this weekend!!! Posh and Becks are to renew their wedding vows in Dromoland Castle, County Clare, this year.

A couple who were due to be married on the day were offered a very generous compensation package by the Beckham family to make up for putting their wedding back a week. Posh and Becks will pay for the displaced couple's wedding, pay off their mortgage and buy them a car of their choice.

On Sunday 4th July 1999 Victoria Adams (Posh Spice) and Manchester United star footballer David Beckham married in what was called the wedding of the century at Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin, Ireland.

Good luck to all of them I say.

Got my OU results!!!

T206 Energy for a Sustainable Future

Joy of joys, I managed to get 60% in my TMA.

Not a great score on first light but when you consider that I did only half a page on Part B which was worth 52% I think it was a jolly good performance.

Part A was largely mathematical and was worth 48%. I got full marks for that. Nice one.

Part B consisted of a 1200 word essay and since, like ironing, I don't like such things I left it to the last few days and wrote about half a page jotting down some notes. More of an essay plan really. My tutor gave me 12 out of 52 which was fair enough since there was no meat in my answer.

As a result I have decided to proceed with the course since I am confident that even I can pass.

I would highly recommend this course (even if you don't like essays).

Next assignment due Apr 28.

Welcome message

Greetings all,

As promised I have setup my blogs thingy, and look forward to letting you all know what I am up to at the moment.

Here's what's on the go at the moment:
  1. Fiona has arrived safely in Perth
  2. I handed in my OU T206 assignment (only a couple of days late and incomplete)
  3. The house in Chorley is on the market
  4. Have filed the company accounts, paid the VAT and submitted form
  5. Nearly completed two months of my 3 month contract at The Guardian Jobs site
  6. Am preparing (a bit better hopefully) for my next OU assignment due 28 April
  7. Will get the house in Croydon valued soon
  8. Hoping to do some decorating at the weekend
Now, I have loads of stuff to sort out in the office/attic so will be doing an inventory and putting stuff on eBay or similar soon-ish.

If there are any special requests let me know, I'll put a list of the items on my website michaelosullivan.net.

Thanks for dropping by and if you have any tips for moving house please let me know.

Happy blogging, M.
